Lords of the Fallen hits 5.5m players

Action role-playing game Lords of the Fallen has brought in more than 5.5 million players since its 2023 release.

That’s according to the game’s official Twitter account, which announced the milestone one year and nine months after its initial release. Lords of the Fallen was a follow-up to the 2014 game of the same name. Which isn’t confusing at all.

Note that this isn’t 5.5 million sales as Lords of the Fallen is available in Xbox Game Pass.

“Mournstead burns brighter than ever, with over 5.5 million Lampbearers worldwide.

Your fierce loyalty, feedback, and passion have helped shape Lords of the Fallen into what it is today… and the exciting chapter that comes next. In light, we walk.”

Lords of the Fallen sold one million copies within its first ten days on sale. The game had a budget of $66 million, apparently.
