Everstone Studio has finally announced a release date for the upcoming open-world free-to-play title, Where Winds Meet, for PC and PS5. The developers have opted to use the Messiah Engine for the release, which is refreshing to hear that it isn’t just Unreal Engine 5 again.
With the release date approaching in a few months, the developers have finally shared some technical aspects of Where Winds Meet for the PC version, including the system requirements. Here is what you’ll need to run the game on PC when it launches later in November 2025.
Where Winds Meet System Requirements
Minimum | Recommended | |
---|---|---|
OS | Windows 10/11 – 64-Bit | Windows 10/11 – 64-Bit |
CPU | Intel Core i7-7700K
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 |
Intel Core i7-10700
AMD Ryzen 5 3700X |
RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
GPU | GTX 1060(6GB)
RX 480(8GB) |
RTX 2070 SUPER
RX 6700 XT ARC A750 |
DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
Storage | 100 GB SSD | 100 GB SSD |
From the looks of these specifications, Where Winds Meet is clearly a bit more demanding on the CPU side. The developers haven’t shared the target preset, resolution, or framerate here, but I’m assuming these are for 1080p. On the higher side, you’ll need something like the RTX 2070 paired with a Ryzen 5 3700X for what I’m hoping is a 1080p 60 FPS experience.

You can still play the game on a lower-end GPU like the GTX 1060 or the RX 480, which means that there aren’t forced ray-tracing effects that require a certain type of minimum GPU. It’s a bit funny to see the GTX 1060 still mentioned in 2025, but I hope this is an indication of the game’s optimization and scalability.
Apart from that, 32 GB of RAM is recommended if you’re hoping to push the settings, and it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise for a 2025 release, where games can eat up 16 GB of RAM without much effort.
An SSD is recommended, and you need around 100 GB of free space to install Where Winds Meet on PC, which isn’t too out of the ordinary for a modern open-world release.
