You Don’t Need Much to Play Ninja Gaiden 4 on PC

2025 is the year of the Ninja, and what better way to continue it than with Ninja Gaiden 4, a mainline entry in the action series from Team Ninja. Platinum Games has teamed up with Team Ninja for a collaborative action title that’s pretty light when it comes to requirements.

Here are the complete system requirements for Ninja Gaiden 4 and what kind of system you’ll need for a decent experience.

Ninja Gaiden 4 System Requirements

Minimum Recommended
Resolution 1080p 1080p
Target FPS 30 FPS 60 FPS
FSR Quality “Low” “Middle”
Object Quality “Low” “Middle”
OS Windows 10/11 – 64-Bit Windows 10/11 – 64-Bit
CPU Intel Core i5-8400

AMD Ryzen 5 3400G

Intel Core i5-10400

AMD Ryzen 5 3600

RAM 16 GB 16 GB
GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 6GB

AMD Radeon RX 590, 8GB

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 8GB

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 8GB

DirectX Version 12 Version 12
Storage 100 GB 100 GB

The developers have given a decent breakdown of the settings, but keep in mind that neither of these is running the game at native 1080p. If you want to play the game at 1080p with FSR set to “middle,” which I’m assuming means balanced and with object quality set to medium as well, you’ll need something like an RTX 2060 paired with a Ryzen 5 3600.

Since the RTX 2060 is a fairly old GPU at this point, I’m assuming that something like an RTX 3060 or RTX 4060 should be more than enough for a native 1080p experience. On the lower side, a GTX 1060 can provide a 30 FPS experience, but with FSR set to “low,” which likely translates to performance. Personally, that does not sound like a desirable experience to me, especially for a lightning-fast action game like Ninja Gaiden.

Outside of that, FSR has been confirmed through these requirements, and I don’t see any reason for DLSS not to be included in the final release. Ninja Gaiden 2 Black has DLSS and benefits greatly from its latest transformer model.

Ninja Gaiden 4 Release Date

Ninja Gaiden 4 is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 on October 21, 2025.

You can pre-order it now across all platforms!

Overall, Ninja Gaiden 4 doesn’t sound like a demanding game, and it’s targeting 60 and 120 FPS on current-generation consoles, including PS5 and Xbox Series S|X, which means that the PC version shouldn’t take much to run well either.

The requirements paint a good picture, but I would appreciate it if developers didn’t mention upscaled resolutions and instead just listed the hardware required for native rendering.
